I was approached last year to discuss a new restaurant concept to hit Australia called Slim’s Quality Burgers.

Whilst I didn’t proceed with any consultancy, it’s certainly an interesting concept. Based on the 1950’s /60’s burger chains with a Shake Shack-inspired spin.

It’s the brainchild of the team who successfully launched, then sold, Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co.

Slim’s is all about simple pleasures. Focussed on fresh, quality food over fancy trends, fads or high volume, fast food. A lean menu of options made with simple but quality ingredients; presented in a retro style outlet.

The first restaurant has opened at 20 Smidmore Street, Marrickville.  Or you can order online or via their App.

And do I hear you ask, who is Slim? Well he’s an idea, not a real person. He’s refreshingly understated yet quietly confident.

Check it out if you’re looking for a quality, yet affordable burger alternative.

And if you’re looking to launch a new concept or position a product or service, then I’d love to hear from you here
