As Lance Armstrong starts his journey for redemption, it’s a great reminder that cheats never prosper.

Lance admits to Oprah

However, as we all know it’s only the tip of the iceberg.

There are dopes, cheats, shonksters, charlatans and arseholes in most walks of life and most likely in your business too.

We’ve had the GFC, the expose of the Catholic Church, breaking the silence of child abuse at Boys Town (http://sixtyminutes.ninemsn.com.au/stories/8532780/breaking-the-silence), discovery of appalling cruelty and animal slaughtering at dolphin cove in Japan, and the list goes on.

When will we learn?

STOP IT in 2013 and start doing 3 simple things:

  1. Stop duping and start EMBRACING the good in people.
  2. Stop discounting and start ENABLING your teams.
  3. Stop arguing and start ENTICING people to build on your ideas.

OPEN UP your soul, start living happily with yourself, and then watch your business grow successfully over the long term.

As my father always says, “life’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon”.

Will you do this in 2013?
